As a professional journalist, she worked as a freelancer for various editors such as Il Sole 24 ore, Mondadori and Hachette. She had various educational and work experiences abroad: one year in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, where she studied philosophy at the University; two and a half years in Montreal, Canada, where she worked as a journalist for the local press and as Head of the Press Office at the Italian Chamber of Commerce. She subsequently started specialising in International Relations and in particular in human rights topics. She has a great passion for traveling and visited Yemen, Thailand, Europe, US, Africa and the Maldives. She speaks French, English and Spanish.
